Manado special food is already very well known for its deliciousness. Combining fried bread with fish filling which is definitely delicious on the tongue. You can make fillings with tuna or skipjack.
INGREDIENTS
Cover Ingredients :
  • 250 gr flour (high protein flour)
  • 7 gr of instant yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 50 gr sugar
  • 125 ml thick coconut milk
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • The oil for frying
Seasoning :
  • 4 red chilies
  • 3 cayenne peppers
  • 3 red onions
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 tamarind seed
  • Salt to taste
  • 200 gr of tuna, steamed, shredded
  • 1 bunch of basil leaves, take the leaves
  • 350 ml of coconut milk
  • Oil for sauteing
HOW TO MAKE
Cover: Mix flour, yeast, granulated sugar, eggs, and margarine. Stir everything and stir until smooth. Set aside. Cover the dough until fluffy.
Filling: Saute ground spices until fragrant. Add shredded tuna and coconut milk. Add the basil leaves, stir until the coconut milk is absorbed into the fish. Lift and allow to cool.
After that, continue with the following process:
  1. Take a pinch of dough that has expanded.
  2. Press the mixture in the palm of the hand, and fill it with one spoonful of the filling ingredients.
  3. Fold the right and left edges, then twist at the edges.
  4. Fried until brown and cooked.
  5. Lift and drain. Panada is ready to be served.
